Summer Blockbuster/Power Outage

Tonight my sister came over after her work shift. We had talked about maybe seeing a movie. We decided on seeing Bad Teacher at the local theater. About 3/4 of the way through the movie, the power went out in the theater! I can say that was a first! There were only a few people in the same theater as us, but we were all a little unsure about what we should do. We waited in there for a couple of minutes, thinking that some of the theater employees would come in and tell us what to do. Not so much, so the few of us went out of our theater and walked to the windows to see if it was the weather. It was forcasted that we were supposed to get some severe storms late this afternoon and evening. That was certainly the case. The clouds were terrifying looking just to the north of the theater!

These were photos from the way home. The first two were in the theater parking lot, and the other was at the stoplight leaving the theater area. It rained pretty hard, and some thunder and lightning, but that was pretty much it from what I saw. It has been crazy how many storms there have been this summer!
