It's getting to be that time of year again...planning Halloween costumes!!
Granted, Derick and I have not gone to any parties or any place on Halloween, but last year we got to dress up at work. (I went as G.I. Jane-military inspired). This year, my friend from work and I were chatting about costumes. She is going as a 50s girl – poodle skirt and all. We have thrown around ideas for me – 50s car-hop waitress or a Pink Lady. Derick and I thought about being characters from “the Sims” computer game – just make the icon above their heads and dress as usual. I might be making my outfit this year…we’ll have to see. I am going to stop by the pop-up Halloween shop in Champlin hopefully this weekend and take a look at what they have – if anything. I might also go and check out Party City and see if they have anything useful and not super expensive. Target probably has their costumes out already too…so many choices! And if I cannot find anything there, there is always the internet to search and order items!
