40 days...and counting!

Wow, I cannot believe all of the things that have taken place over the past few days!

I was so stressed out about my invitations and programs because I hadn't sent them out yet and they were going to cost a small fortune to print. (not according to Lori's when she got married! She told me that when she got hers printed for her wedding they cost a grand mouth-dropping price of $4,000!!) But all is now well on that end of invitations and programs! The files went to the printer, and FRIDAY I got to sit down with Derick (I stopped by and picked him up from work on his break), Lori and the printer and I all looked at the proof from the printer! The invitations and programs were beautiful! They were not printed on a glossy cardstock as both Lori and myself thought that they were going to be, but nevertheless, they still looked and felt amazing! They should be mailed and to the house no later than Wednesday afternoon! Which will be pretty good timing because I have a floorset this week! Whew! As if enough wasn't going on!

I also got to play Mario Kart on the Wii with Jenny and Paul :) That was a lot of fun, but a lot harder than it looks!

I think that I am actually in a pretty good place as far as getting things ready for the wedding and the only thing that has stressed me out so far were the invitations and programs!

I went to my grandma's house the other day to try on my wedding dress and veil so far that she is altering/making for me. I am so excited about that!

Today I made/put the finishing touches on Cassie's headpiece, my tiara and my shoes! things are for sure getting checked off the list! whoo hoo! I like that feeling of accomplishment!

Well, I think that is about all for now! I think I am going to take a little break from being so productive this afternoon!
